Ruakura Inland Port is operated in accordance with the Customs & Excise Act 2018, the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015, the Resource Management Act 1991, the Biosecurity Act 1993 and all other relevant legislation and regulations.
Ruakura Inland Port is a Customs Controlled Area (CCA) and all persons and goods entering and leaving the CCA will be monitored. All workers and visitors are required to present photo identification and may be subject to a vehicle or bag search. Visitors without a valid access card must be escorted at all times while they are on site.
All workers and visitors to the Ruakura Inland Port must complete a health and safety induction and must ensure their activities have minimal impact on the environment.
